Success Away in the Mid-Week League

7.8.19 – This afternoon we travelled to league leaders Colliers Wood,  for the next of our Mid – Week league fixtures. Anne, Johnny and Ossie were up against it and were 7 – 15 behind after 13 ends. Winning 4 of the final 5 ends with counts of 4, 3, 3 and 2 saw them complete a tremendous turnaround to win 19 – 16. Ange, Vernon and Richard were 0 – 9 after 4 ends but took the lead at 15 – 12, 10 ends later. The final ends were shared giving WPBC the match with a 17 – 15 win. Match result an outstanding  8 – 0 win (36 shots to 31), which leaves Wimbledon Park on top of the league.
