Surrey Singles

On Monday evening Neil was away at Heathfield for the next round of the Surrey Singles. After a slow start Neil found himself 3 – 12 down after 10 ends before a brief rally brought him back to 10 – 12 after 14 ends. Not to be outdone his opponent then opened up the gap to lead 17 – 11, before once again Neil pulled back to take the lead 19 – 17 after 22 ends. 3 ends later it was all over with Heathfield through to the next round with a 21 – 19 win.
