The Surrey Pairs Come to an End

June 23rd – after a great run in the Surrey Pairs, Pete and Martin faced a strong Wandilea pair for a place in the Surrey Area Pairs Final. With the game having to be played on a neutral green at South London, as Wandilea was water-logged, it turned out to be the Wandilea players who settled quickly. With the scores at 7- 21, Pete and Martin shook hands and congratulated their opponents on their victory.
