Tough Away Game in the Mid-week Triples

July 19th – This afternoon we travelled to Streatham Park to play the only Division 2 league team who were undefeated. Rosalind, Vernon and Barry put in a strong performance winning 11 of the 18 ends and finishing 23 – 11 winners. Ange, Ossie and Neil were on the receiving end from the home side and managed to win just 5 ends, losing 9 – 17. The margin of defeat however was small enough to see Wimbledon Park win the match 6 – 2; 32 shots to 28.
