Weekend League Fixture on a Wednesday Evening!

August 24th – this evening the re-arranged home league match between Wimbledon Park and Wandilea took place. Claire, Matthew, Jonathan and Barry found the opposition in fine form and despite the shortened format of 18 ends, went down 9 – 24. Ralph, Rosalind, Ossie and Neil were level at 8 – 8 after 9 ends but managed to edge the second half going on to win 23 – 15. Sabrina, Ange, Pete and Martin had a low scoring game with only four ends not being singles, however it was Wandilea who secured the win 15 – 7. Match result 2 – 8 (39 shots to 54).
