26.9.21 End of Season ‘One-Day Round-Robin’ Competition

This afternoon we had an amazing 17 club members take to the green, including many of our new members, for a fun but thrilling end of season Round-Robin competition. At the end of the Round-Robin group stages, Barry won Group A, with Anne as Runner-Up. Neil won Group B, with Pete as Runner-Up, Martin won Group C, with Roger as Runner-Up on shots difference from Sallie. Rosalind won Group D, with Alison and Angela tied on shots difference as joint Runners-Up. In the Semi-Finals, Barry beat Rosalind and Neil beat Martin, but it took an extra end to do so, after the scores were tied after 6-ends. In the Final, Neil edged out Barry to win the Challoner Cup for 2021.
