15.9.21 Final Mid-Week Triples League Game of 2021

Carshalton arrived on the green needing 2 points to gain promotion to Division 1.  Rosalind, Ange and Martin kept their opponents close, for much of the game, and after 13 ends the score was 10 – 10.  Carshalton then scored 5 shots on the 14th end, which ultimately sealed the title, as only a further 5 shots were shared on the last 4 ends, for an 11 – 19 result. Unfortunately Gail, Roger and Richard F found themselves up against a Triple who were all bang in form and found the green very much to their liking.  Despite their best efforts they had no answer to the relentless onslaught and were left to lick their wounds after a 4 – 30 reverse.  Overall 15 – 47, 0pts – 8pts. Good luck to Carshalton in  Division 1 next season.
