In a close fought contest, where on only two of the eighteen ends more than a single was scored, it was Belmont who advanced to the final with a 14 - 7 win. 29.8.25 - This afternoon, up at Heathfield, Rosalind and Martin played Belmont in the Semi-final of the District Mixed Pairs. In a close competitive game the 16th end turned the game, but unfortunately for WPBC it was Belmont who picked up a 5 on that end, going on to a narrow 20 - 16 win.
