16.5.25 - This evening Neil was over at Croydon M Os for the opening match in the first round of the National Champion of Champions competition. After tight opening ends the score was 7 - 7 at 9 ends, before Neil managed to pull away to win 21 - 12.

15.5.25 - This evening Barry, Pete, Martin and Neil were over at Shirley Park for their opening match in the Surrey Senior Fours. On what turned out to be an extremely heavy green, and despite WPBC opening with a three and a four, the home side took control, going on to win 20 - 11.

15.5.25 - This afternoon we had our first mid-week triples match away at Streatham Park. Unfortunately for us the game went to the home team with Sue F, Bob and Richard F going down 9 - 20, whilst Rosalind, Frank and Anne went down 6 - 22. A big thank you to all the players and to Sue for her first game as captain. Match result 0 - 8 (15 shots to 42).

10.5.25 - This morning’s weekly taster session, the third of the season, saw 9 visitors to the green, including three from the USA. 8.5.25 - This evening, over at Purley Bury, Neil played the opening round of the National Senior Singles. With both players drawing well it was Neil who made it to round two with a 21 - 2 win. A special mention to the Purley Bury supporters who sportingly showed their appreciation by applauding the good bowling of both players.

5.5.25 - This evening Claire T and Neil welcomed Temple/Belmont to Wimbledon Park for the opening round of the National Mixed Pairs. In a fairly balanced game, the Belmont skip drew really well and it was the visitors who took the win 18 - 13.

18.9.24 - This evening's club-night included the final of the club-night points competition between Johnny (sub for William) and Neil. At the end of the 12 ends, it was Neil who edged out Johnny to win the Aggregate Shield.

First to finish were Caroline, Pete and Martin who led 12 - 0 after 5 ends. 6 ends later and Merton were back in it, trailing by two shots with WPBC just ahead 13 - 11.
