Barry and Neil played Wandilea at home this evening in the 3rd Round of the Surrey Pairs. Playing tidily throughout, along with some good fortune, Wimbledon Park took control of the game, limiting their opponents to just 4 singles in the 14 ends that were played. Final score 18 - 4 and a place in the last 8 of Division 1, Area 1 awaits next week.

This afternoon Wimbledon Park hosted last year's League Champions Raynes Park in the second match of the Mid-Week Triples League. Unfortunately for us, Raynes Park proved too strong with Derek, Ossie and Vernon losing by 12 - 17 and Ron, Hector and Barry going down by 10 - 17. Match result a loss 0 - 8 (22 shots to 34).
