June 2nd - This evening Neil played South London in the opening round of the Men's Surrey Singles. In a close 24-end game, where the lead changed no fewer than 7 times, it was Neil who prevailed, edging through to the second round 21 - 15. More

June 1st - This evening saw the start of the Surrey Men's Pairs competition with Pete and Martin playing away at South London and Barry and Neil playing Mitcham at home. Not to be in the Surrey Men’s Triples

May 30th - This evening Derek, Vernon and Pete travelled to Shirley Park to play in the Surrey Triples. Up against a strong triple, two large counts of 4 and 5 against them saw WPBC 6 - 16 behind after 11 ends. The final 7 ends belonged to Wimbledon Park who closed the gap to 4 shots, going down 17 - 21 in the end. More

Surrey Ladies’ Champion of Champions – A Game of Two Halves

May 28th - This morning Sabrina travelled to Supreme for the opening round of the Surrey Champion of Champions competition; a strong start saw Sabrina take the first half, leading 7 - 4 after 10 ends. Unfortunately as the game progressed so did Sabrina's opponent who advanced to the second round with a 21 - 7 win. More

Double Triumph in Today’s Singles’ Matches

May 26th - This afternoon Barry hosted Heathfield in the first round of the Surrey Secretaries' competition. Settling quickly and finding the length, Barry edged ahead to lead 6 - 3 after 7 ends. Tough match in the ladies unbadged singles

May 23rd - Sabrina hosted Maldon Manor for the second round of the Surrey ladies unbadged singles. In what proved to be a tight first half Sabrina managed to lead 7/4 after 9 ends. But Sabrina's opponent came back strong with some especially good last wood bowls on ends to win the game 21/13. More

Strong Start in the Men’s Surrey Fours

May 22nd - this evening Barry, Pete, Martin and Neil travelled to Belmont for the first round of the Surrey Fours competition.
