Tough Triples – No Triumph

This afternoon Wimbledon Park travelled to Bolingbroke for the latest Mid-week Triples fixture. Playing against a strong Bolingbroke team it proved to be a tough ordeal with Betty, Vernon and Jonathan managing to win 4 of the 18 ends amassing 14 shots to their opponents 33. Alf, Cherry (making her triples debut) and Barry faired slightly better winning 5 ends but keeping the margin closer, losing 11 – 19. Match result a loss 0 – 8 (25 shots to 52).
