Barry and Neil played Wandilea at home this evening in the 3rd Round of the Surrey Pairs. Playing tidily throughout, along with some good fortune, Wimbledon Park took control of the game, limiting their opponents to just 4 singles in the 14 ends that were played. Final score 18 - 4 and a place in the last 8 of Division 1, Area 1 awaits next week. More

Defeat in the Mid-week League

This afternoon Wimbledon Park hosted last year's League Champions Raynes Park in the second match of the Mid-Week Triples League. Barry, Jonathan and Neil played South London at home this evening in the Surrey Triples. After dropping a two on the second end to go 1 - 2 down, Wimbledon Park bowled tidily to win the next 14 ends, finishing with a 22 - 2 victory and a place in the last 8 in Area 1 Division 1. More

A Win in the Surrey Fours

Barry, Jonathan, Martin and Neil played Croydon in the first round of the Surrey Fours this evening. In tricky conditions, due to the cold and windy weather, both teams won 10 ends, but it was Wimbledon Park who proved to be more consistent winning by 25 shots to 15 to set up an away fixture next week over at Norbury. This afternoon's league match saw us at home for the first time this year. This evening all 3 of our Men's Pairs had close matches, none more so than Pete and Martin who were playing away at Merton Park.
