June 26th - Today Sabrina played in the Surrey Ladies' 2-woods competition hosted by Southey BC. Sabrina was drawn to play Supreme in her first game and found herself up against an experienced member of the Johns Trophy team. Despite enjoying the encounter, Sabrina found her opponent in form, going down 6 - 16. Thanks to Cherry for her support.

June 26th - This afternoon Riversdale Primary School became the second school to accept the invitation to try bowls at Wimbledon Park, as the children from Years 5 and 6 enjoyed an afternoon on the bowls green. A great time was had by the children and staff. Thank you to Barry who led the session helped by Alison, Claire, Maggie and Vicki.

June 25th - This afternoon we welcomed South London to Wimbledon Park for the 5th league match of the year. Hector, Ange, George and Vernon began well and were 7 - 0 ahead after 4 ends, a lead which they kept until the 18th end when their opponents levelled at 13 - 13. Sunday 25th - This morning George played Raynes Park in the opening round of the Wimbledon and District Men's Singles competition. With both players drawing well from the start the heads were tight, but it was the Raynes Park bowler who emerged as the winner 21 - 5. Neil advanced to the next round when his opponent had to concede the game.

June 24th - This morning's taster session saw 10 club members and 8 first time visitors take to the green for an enjoyable taste of bowls. June 18th - This morning, on another scorching day, George and Derek travelled to Mitcham for the opening round of the Wimbledon and District Men's Pairs competition.
