National Family Pairs – A Very Close Match

May 6th - This evening Jonathan and Neil played Wandilea in the first match of the Surrey/Sussex section of the National Family Pairs Competition. Final Taster Session – Another Success

This morning's taster session, the last one of the 2015 season, saw another triumphant morning on the green in Wimbledon Park. 16 people took to the green, including two first-time bowlers, bringing the total for 2015 to 72 visitors who have tried bowls out for the first time - a new record for the club. Club-night Aggregate Final

This evening Jonathan and Neil played the final of the Club-night Aggregate Shield. Neil started well, taking the first three ends of the twelve end match, before ditching the jack led to Jonathan changing the jack length. Eight ends later and it was all over with Jonathan having comfortably taken the title. More
