21.8.23 - Today we had players in two District Singles Semi-Finals, Richard F played Belmont in the Men’s Singles, where he encountered Belmont in fine form, going down 9 - 21. Martin played South London in the Over - 60’s Singles, missing out on a place in the finals by the narrowest of margins, going down 20 - 21.

18.8.23 - This evening, Sara, Barry and Neil were over at Belmont to play Southey in the Semi-final of the District Mixed Triples. In a close first half, the scores were level at 8 - 8 after 11 ends, before Southey won almost all of the remaining ends to advance to the final with a 16 - 9 win.
