At home this evening Ossie, Pete, Jonathan and Barry took on Heathfield in the second round of the Surrey Area Top 4 Competition. This morning Neil and Jonathan played Colliers Wood in the National Family Pairs. Starting strongly, they led 7 - 0 after 4 ends and 13 - 4 after 11 ends. Neil visited Wandilea this evening in the National Champion of Champions competition. Playing on a tricky rink, the early exchanges were fairly even with the scores tied at 6 - 6 after 9 ends and 9 - 9, 3 ends later. The club's first outing in the Men's National Double Rink competition took us to Wandilea, the 2012 National semi-finalists.
